GMAT Test Strategy

While many books overemphasize the importance of 'tricks', which aren't much help at the harder levels of the test, you should at least be aware of fallback strategies if you see a difficult question on the test. You should also have an understanding of how computer adaptive testing works, and have a well-rehearsed time strategy going into the test- at what point should you guess and move on to the next question? We don't agree with the recommendations in the most popular GMAT books, which are based on a misunderstanding of how the GMAT scoring algorithm works. This is something we’ll be saying more about further on.
