GMAT - Conceptual Understanding

An unprepared student may lack the knowledge required to answer questions - you'll need to know, for example, how to find the area of a circle, or how to calculate a least common multiple. But harder GMAT questions don't test how many formulas you've memorized, or whether you're a human calculator. Among other things, they do test the depth of your conceptual understanding. To answer the hardest GMAT questions, you'll need to thoroughly understand simple concepts like divisibility, and know how to use techniques like prime factorization to answer divisibility questions.
